New Publication:  “Local labor markets and the persistence of population shocks: evidence from West Germany” has been published in the Journal of Economic Geography.

New Doctoral thesis "Essays on population and housing economics" by Kathlen Kürschner Rauck published in July 2020.

New Doctoral thesis "Essays on population and housing economics" by Yue Huang published in November 2019.

For their exceptional engagement in teaching in the summer term 2019, two members of the Chair for Applied Economics have been awarded teaching prizes by the Faculty of Economics and Management: Omar Martin Fieles-Ahmad (2nd place in the Bachelor programs) and Michael Kvasnicka (3rd place in the Bachelor programs). The awards were conferred by the Dean for Studies, Prof. Eichfelder, at the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Economics and Management on 9 November 2019.
